Fairport carried the largest roster with forty players and Batavia had the smallest with sixteen. |

The Mustangs will now travel to Section 6 (All High Stadium) for a 10 AM game against Akron (17-1) on Saturday. It took two overtime periods for Victor to win their fifth consecutive Championship as Alexander Mabbett scored the game winner with a pass form Joey Pezzimenti for the 10-9 win over Webster Thomas. |
# 1434 Victor Wins in Overtime Alexander Mabbett scored off a feed from Joey Pezzimenti 1:59 into the second overtime period to give Victor the 10-9 win over Webster Thomas. This is the fifth consecutive win for the Blue Devils. Victor started off the game strong and took an early 5-2 in the second quarter. They continued to put up points and increased their lead to 7-3 with 9:50 remaining in the third quarter. After that Thomas put on the back-burners. They scored four straight goals before Victor added their 8th. The Titans continued to push all the way through the fourth and into the two overtime periods. Both teams had shots at the cage in overtime and it was edge of your seat lacrosse for both periods. |

# 1374 Victor Scores Seven Unanswered in Win After a close half, Victor pulled away and defeated Webster Schroeder 9-4. The Warriors played a close fought quarter and a half before Victor scored seven unanswered goals spanning the last three quarters. Victor opened up the soring with Mitchell Cain assisting Alexander Mabbett 1:09 into the game. Schroeder responded with back to back goals to take the lead. Jonathan Kay assisted Hunter Olsen for an outside midrange shot. Three minutes later, Connor Bollin assisted Justin Connolly to the left flat. The first quarter continued with back and forth attempts at the cage. Neither team scored until Victor came off a dead ball with 0:02 remaining. A quick pass onto the crease by Sam Lambert to Cain tied the game at 2-2 as time expired. |
# 1358 Penn Yan Wins in Double OT SATURDAY: DAY IN REVIEW: Although the forecast called for an ice storm throughout the day, nine games were able to be completed on a very cold day. Penn Yan won in double overtime with a goal by Colton Smith. Gananda won an exciting 11-10 victory over Pal-Mac as the combination of seniors Brett Cunningham and Henry Bush combined for seven goals which proved to be the difference. Spencerport and Schroeder had two ties before the Warriors scored two goals in the last quarter for a 6-4 win. |

Pittsford fended off a last minute barrage from Fairport, Brighton saw a goal from Lukas Stanat (5g) to break their tie with Hilton and Cullen Coons scored his third goal of the game in the first overtime period to give Livonia-Avon the 17-16 win over Marcus Whitman. |
# 1337 Victor Holds Off JD for Win in Season Opener Victor scored the first three goals of the contest and led the entire game in their 13-10 win over Jamesville-Dewitt. Although the Red Rams kept the game close in the second half, they never tied the game. Victor scored seven of the first eight goals before JD began their comeback with six of the next seven. Since 2003, Victor and JD have played four times with each team now winning twice. |

Pittsford lost as Ward Meleville overcame a five deficit in the last four minutes of the game to force the game into overtime where Matthew Grillo scored the winnning goal for the Patriots. In the class C game, Cold Springs Harbor overcame a XX deficit and beat Jamesville DeWitt 11-9. In the first ever Class D game, Christian Brothers Academy defeated Westlake with a score of 12-5. # 1274 Class B State Title - Victor over Yorktown Victor won their third straight State Title with a 9-3 win over Yorktown. The Blue Devils trailed briefly after Yorktown scored the opening goal. However, they responded with seven goals and controlled the pace of the entire game. The Huskers added two goals in the third, but they never came back within range. The Blue Devils were led in scoring by Class B Offensive MVP Alexander Mabbett with 2g-2a. Matt Gardner was named Defensive Player of the Game. |

The Blue Devils are the two-time defending State Champions and are looking for their third straight win. Victor will face Yorktown (Section I).
